This is a thoroughly boring film, one which had me nodding off in the cinema and wanting to need the loo, just for an excuse to leave the theatre! The story itself is totally inaccessible to anyone who has not studied Resi to degree level, and the plot has some major holes and discrepancies, as well as some downright confusing bits.
The monsters now look so grotesque they are laughable (the dogs a prime example of this), and new 3D effects are a cash in and add nothing to the plot or film. One good thing is the cliffhanger ending but this will likely lead to another rubbish sequel.
