I just want to say that for starters, I'm not an actual fan of the RE games, though I do know alot about them and do plan to play them eventually. Unfortunately, till then I've had to suffer with these movies.

This fourth installment in the series now has 3D, and uses it in a really gimmicky way, with stuff flying at your screen (look Wesker just threw his glasses at us, edgy!), and lots and lots of slo-mo.

There is so much of it in this movie I swear at times I was yelling, "Speed up movie, speed up!" Plot wise it's nothing special, Alice, the heroine of the last three movies, is still fighting Umbrella, this time with an army of clones of herself, kidding, because Paul W.

S. Anderson practically nukes that sub plot from the last movie. So Alice heads to LA after stopping by Alaska to see if any remaining survivors that escaped in the last movie got there, she finds none except Claire Redfield from the last one and with one of those mind control things from RE 5.

Also, Alice should've explained in the last movie that Las Plagas also happened because now the zombies have some traits from that parasite, mainly the weird octopus mouths. Continuing the tradition of using characters from the games and the occasional enemy, Chris Redfield is in this movie, played by that guy from Prison Break and he does.

.. nothing really, sure the casting choice here was decent but it's the way he's used just makes him kind of useless, considering these movies mainly focus on Alice and not the characters from the games.

As for the enemy from the games that's in here, it's the executioner from RE 5, who probably did this role because he needed the money. So yeah, in the end I really didn't like this movie, at all, it's alot of pointless and REALLY SLOW action scenes and a plot that is just really generic, just avoid this one.
