It may focus on its own story (slightly on the video game) & the acting is a little overdone, but "Resident Evil" has great fighting scenes, decent special effects, & horrifying zombies.
As for fans of the video game series, it's your cup of coffee: you can enjoy it or not. The only good "Resident Evil" film.
