Review of Resident Evil (2002) by Darren P — 22 Nov 2013

Resident Evil is a film loosely based on Resident Evil video game franchise. Now let me star by saying that the this film did not suck and it's actually really good for a movie based on a video game.

This film is not perfect but it's really fun to watch. What I like about this film is that it has elements from the video games that actually work. This film introduces a new character named Alice who is played by Milla Jovovich who really gives a good performance.

Alice is an former Umbrella worker who plans to shut down Umbrella, but her plan is foiled when her fake husband is undercover plans to stop her. This film is pretty entertaining for it's action, gore, and violence just like the games.

Now I'm a big fan of the video games and was I disappointed because it had nothing to do with the games. Actually no, because there is a reason why and I understand that, but despite that I enjoyed some of it.
