Review of Reservoir Dogs (1992) by Tim N — 24 May 2013
My favorite of Tarantino's films, at least of the ones I've seen so far. I'm not very good at going in depth about a movie's merits, but I can say this: I felt this movie. It was a first for me in the action/thriller genre.
I ordinarily sit back and just watch the movie, laughing darkly during some particularly nasty displays of violence, and now and then even pop off with an MST3K-style wisecrack. But in this case, I was gripped.
I can't exactly pinpoint what gripped me, or what made me feel this movie so tangibly. So, I'm conclusion, if you enjoy a good crime story, and haven't seen Reservoir Dogs already, you owe it to yourself to check this one out.
