Review of Reservoir Dogs (1992) by Tyrus K — 19 Feb 2014
Not the deepest movie, but Reservoir Dogs is something you can watch more than once. Tarantino chooses style over substance in his first feature film, and this works with it's cool characters and crafty dialogue.
It's a film driven by words, most obscenities, and involves some excessive violence, however few action sequences. The violence is expected from Tarantino, but a lack of action in a heist film isn't.
Of course this is due to it's low budget and even with that, this film somehow works.
