Review of Reservoir Dogs (1992) by Private U — 06 Dec 2014
Tarantino successfully turns 4 men in suits and sunglasses into symbols of 'cool'. Quite a male orientated film focusing on loyalty and trust between bro's lots of violence unsuprisingly, but it is the films almost real-time run that only gives us a fleeting glimpse of the acting out of organised crime.
You find yourself searching for meaning in the colours attributed to their names which I thought was a clever way of adding depth without really trying, as it capures the viewers imagination, in the same way as the Edgar Allan Poe story 'the masque of the red death.
' Loved it, i'm sure there will be an infinite amount of times you can watch this and perceive different things every time.
