Review of Reservoir Dogs (1992) by David B — 13 Feb 2016
This is a great story. Explaining the main characters actions and to find out who the real rat is. Perfect casting and great direction. Not for people who hate foul language. Great scenes! It does have that twist in it and the ending is very suspenful.
Undoubtedly one of the best films of the 1990s, and probably one of the best directorial debuts of all time, Reservoir Dogs announced the arrival of one of contemporary cinema's hottest talents -- and he came out shooting.
Those who survive it emerge in a shell-shocked euphoria -- so good and so blunt is the writing. Great film and deserves it's cult status. Even the sound track is wonderful. No matter how many times you've freeze-framed the bit at the end, it's still up there with Die Hard and Taxi Driver as one of the great once-a-year indulgences.
