Review of Reservoir Dogs (1992) by Charlie L — 13 Sep 2014
More than just another heist film, this is serious stuff. Going beyond the immaculate dialogue, Tarantino's directing debut places a considerable expectation on the viewer to keep up with the roller coaster of guns, blood, and infiltration they're being bombarded with.
Decked out by a brilliantly chosen cast, Reservoir Dogs is both a serene salute to the films which made Tarantino as a director, and an intense story loaded with plot intrigue and action about a meticulously-planned heist gone wrong.
