Ruffalo, Connelly and Phoenix give superb performances, even though it seems many of Connelly's last films aren't offering her much to do. It's often heartbreaking however it's cliched and contrived and doesn't offer any real connection of an emotional dilemma.
Strays from decent drama to silly thriller.
