Review of Reservation Road (2007) by Henri L — 27 Jul 2009
Not even the always awesome Phoenix or the gorgeous couple of beauties, Connelly and Sorvino, can save this Susanne Bier-like movie from being nothing but a disaster. No depth to any of the characters, a cliché use of dialouge all around and some ex-treme-ly bad use of kindergartenish methaphors.
And Mark Ruffalo is supposed to be suffering in this movie, right? Well, it doesn't show one bit. This is all bad! Director Terry George must be the most award-hungry son of a bitch around. Bomb, indeed!
