Review of Reservation Road (2007) by Brian G — 17 Oct 2009
I have seen this movie earlier today on television. It is eye opening to the fact that anyone (no matter what age) can pass away in an instant. Also how live continues to move along even though family is grieving.
The acting especially from the victim's family (actors/actresses) is nice. Two scenes are memorable to me: the mother crying after she finds out how he died (and the daughter cries because she is scared/worried) and the parents arguing, getting their frustrations out while the victim's items are being removed.
The way the movie ended is somewhat rushed however the last scene is unforgettable. It made me wonder about the father's son, how would he grow up?
