Review of Reservation Road (2007) by Jimmie H — 19 Aug 2009
It is a deep and heartbreaking look at the effects that a hit and run has on people on both sides, the victims and perpetrator. Strong performances by everyone, especially Ruffalo; that had to have been a hard character to portray.
The quality of the story tapered off as the movie progressed, although the final confrontation between Ruffalo and Phoenix was heart-wrenching and solid. The chat room sequences interfered with the flow of the story, I thought; they were rather strange.
