Review of Rescue from Gilligan's Island (1978) by James S — 06 Aug 2008

A movie that feels like a fun long version of the television show. Sure everyone looks a lot older, especially the Professer, but their still the same old castaways as before. Except for Judith Baldwin who does a good job of making Ginger an airhead, but I never got that impression of Ginger from the show as being a complete space cadet.

I would have prefered the original Ginger instead. The acting is very TV movie, but that adds to it's likability. If your a fan of the show then this "hour long tour" will bring a smile to your face and all those nostalgia feelings to.
