It's another brilliant film by werner herzog, beautiful cinematography, christian bale is (as usual) excellent. it's just that war movies are totally lost on me...and i'm watching movies more and more for entertainment rather than some intellectual cravings.
..so this movie was HORRIFYING in that way (can you just imagine?!). then I looked up dieter dengler and his life...what a man! I only recommend it if you're a die-hard vietname movie buff, or war movies in general.
