Review of Rescue Dawn (2007) by Shiv K — 05 May 2014
The film is very gripping and realistic. It has taught me the value of food and freedom! We can learn a lot from the protagonist Dieter (Christian Bale) like positive attitude, love of life, survival tactics, etc.
After Dieter was rescued, it's not clear what happened to his buddy Duane (Steve Zahn)! Probably it's because the film is based on the real incidents that happened with Dieter Dengler in Vietnam and he doesn't know what happened to Duane Martin after he was rescued.
Wonderful/realistic performance by Christian Bale and Steve Zahn. For me its one of the greatest movies ever made.
