Review of Requiem for a Dream (2000) by James R — 26 Oct 2012

I've seen this movie three times and yes it is a rough film to watch. It's about addiction and trust me after watching this you'll need a few things and do a few things. You'll need a hug an definitely won't wanna touch any drugs in the near future.

The film has some great performances and man does everyone come forward. Jared Leto for me had that lost kind of look that just defines his characters helplessness. The overall theme is how something can destroy your life and this movie underlines it.

Definitely, recommend checking it out at least once!
