Review of Requiem for a Dream (2000) by Sam T — 07 Nov 2012

Some found this to be an eye-opening look at drug addiction. I saw it as an opportunity to put a number of people into extreme situations in order to disgust the viewers. The one intriguing thing about it is the older woman's descent into addiction, which really put into perspective the helplessness of someone inflicted with it.

But be warned, this is a really hard movie to watch.
