Review of Requiem for a Dream (2000) by Tyler H — 14 Mar 2013
You can tell it's amateur but I really don't care because it's so good. Sara Goldfarb is by far the best part of the movie. Everything else is a little cliche. The editing makes the movie work and the obviously bad performances by some of the actors is not as noticeable unless you look really hard.
This movie was beautifully tragic, but I thought that Tyrone and Marion should have been cut to the side. The Goldfarbs as the focus of the movie would have been way better.
