This is why I really like Indy movies, the screenplay in this movie is absolutly amazing. After reading all of the reviews on this board telling just how crushingly depressing this movie is I think that might have colored my mental profile of this movie because it didn't quite hit me nearly as hard as I thought that it would have. Also looking up some pictures online I saw some stuff that kind of gave me an idea of what to expect so when they did not hit as hard as they should have but I digress. My point being that you should watch this movie without looking up any of the plot details first, but be warned that this is very much a rated R movie.

The movie starts off with four main charecters living a rather easy life either selling drugs or taking drugs or watching tv. Just like a Tarintino movie, it's broken up into 3 main parts each being named after seasons starting at summer. After watching the first part I thought that the movie was a rather light hearted message about drug use but man as the movie goes on it feels like a completely different movie. Things go from bad to horrible and sometimes even beyond that. Really this is a great movie to show people to convince them that the lifestyle of drugs and selling them is something that could lead them to this conclusion. The screenplay is the thing that makes this movie come to life with constinously changing camera points that are stratigically placed to give different points of views and they work perfectly. I would recommend this movie for most everyone to watch but if you are in a good mood you may want to hold off on this and watch it when post off because it will make you feel a whole lot better about your life.
