Review of Requiem for a Dream (2000) by Alexander P — 29 Oct 2013
Second favorite Darren Aronofsky film. Beaten by a bit by Black Swan. I think this film over-blew the effects of Marijuana, but the rest of it was very real. The last 20 minutes of this movie are intense as hell, and worth the watch just for that.
Great performances, notably by Ellen Burstyn as the mother.
