Review of Requiem for a Dream (2000) by Calan P — 20 Jan 2014
I really enjoyed the style which this film was made. Other than that this isn't that great of a movie. Its sort of like a B-version of "Trainspotting". This movie does show how drugs are bad, but not to the extent that Trainspotting did, and while the characters are kind of interesting, they aren't as memorable as the ones in Trainspotting.
Maybe i'm comparing the films too much, but they have very similar messages, and Trainspotting is far superior.
