Review of Requiem for a Dream (2000) by Jenna G — 22 Oct 2015
Extreme yet realistic view of addiction, Requiem for a Dream is often difficult to watch, but I couldn't stop watching. The cinematography, editing & score are all incredible. The performances from Leto, Connelly and Wayans are so good, but Ellen Burstyn was truly brilliant.
I'm not sure if I can or ever will watch this movie again, but it was certainly worth the watch...even if for Burstyn alone.
