Review of Repulsion (1965) by Joanna N — 12 Apr 2008
Through Polanski's directing and the incredibly creepy cinematopraphy, there is no better way to watch someone slowly unhinge. Catherine Deneuve really is quite great in this and really sells me on the part.
This film is creepy as hell and right from the opening credits you always feel as if something is not quite right, until of course it all becomes completely insane, yet beautiful.
