Review of Repulsion (1965) by Brad G — 16 Oct 2009
Completely deranged and abstract. Fear for Carole was clearly men and rape. Being left alone was obviously not the right decision for her. It's hard to get a clear message from this movie, it can be seen in a thousand different ways.
It's precise film making from Roman Polanski that make this so effective and downright disturbing. Between walls cracking and hands coming out of the walls, it's a death trap.
