Review of Repulsion (1965) by Jesse K — 31 Dec 2012
A tad disappointing (My expectations were too high again) but this slow-moving tale of insanity does get under your skin at times. Other times it seems rather ineffective. Everything is well done but be ready for a story that takes its time rather than throws grotesque imagery and creepy effects at you like crazy (no pun intended).
I'd also like to mention that the score is fantastic and helps create the perfect atmosphere throughout.
