Review of Repulsion (1965) by John E — 30 Jul 2007
This is one of the only movies I've ever seen where I can actually say it truly scared me. Polanski's ability to capture and display Deneuve's descent and loss of sanity is incredible. As her ability to grasp reality continues, Polanski creates this sense of claustrophobia, anxiety, and paranoia that he makes you remember this film after it's final frame.
