After watching Polanski's Macbeth I felt I was watching the same movie again. An introvertite character persecuted by its surroundings. This one is marvelously shot and deliciously schizophrenic but why a London appartment and a boyfriend with an amercan accent? And for what reason two french sisters would speak english while together? Catherine Deneuve offers a one-time performance,.
