Fear, paranoia, isolation, despair, vulnerability, desperation, desolation, and surrendering to the long slow descent into madness. Forget everything that you think you know about these concepts. This film rocked me to my very core in a very real and profound way.
And I can't wait to muster the fortitude it'll require to watch it again. Hitchcock, Aronofsky, and Argento at their darkest couldn't prepare me for this film, and the final frame may haunt me for life.
