I really liked this film. When the narrator expresses dialogue, the outcome for the two main characters becomes in doubtful. Within a certain outcome there is a feeling that the characters lives are being rewritten as the film moves along.
The final sequence has the narrator dialogue so one really does not get a glimpse at how the characters actually turn out. I love how there is a certain dislike between the two social classes and how some of the characters over come when the feeling from the film would justify otherwise.
