Review of Reprise (2006) by Dan J — 05 Mar 2009
If you're going to give me art about artists, it had better be good. It seems to me that this one ran out of ideas somewhere near the middle, and just trailed off into an ambiguous, random walk of Phillip's insanity and Erik's delusions of grandeur.
It lost its sting for me because I couldn't feel the tension of human struggle toward the end. Too bad. I'm always on the lookout for good Scandinavian cinema.
