Review of Repo! The Genetic Opera (2008) by Jessie C — 21 Sep 2012
I absolutely loved this movie. I would have watched it more if I could. It easily became one of my most favorite movies. The music was well put together, the scenes were very intense, and the plot of the story, including the personality of Nathan to Rotti are very complimentary to the setting of the movie.
I mean, who else could see that Rotti had everything planned from YEARS in advance? He's not as stupid as one would think, though you couldn't tell it by his overly-spoiled kids; he also underestimated Nathan's knowledge as to what he was up to.
I would have liked the ending better if Mag could have lived though, or if they actually showed what Shilo did after leaving the scene. I now cannot wait until 'The Devil's Carnival' known to be the companion movie to this one.
