Review of Repo! The Genetic Opera (2008) by Greg C — 31 May 2010
Completely non-formulaic, which is what I liked the most about this movie. It IS an opera, but with rock and metal elements to the music and under an overall heavier overtone than the typical reputation an opera might get.
Dark and original; not the best movie I've seen, but certainly worth more credit than it gets.
