Review of Repo Men (2010) by Deb S — 29 Jan 2011
In the near future, artificial organs can be bought on credit from a company called "The Union." The dark side of these medical breakthroughs is that if one can't pay the bill, "The Union" will send a highly skilled repo man to take the organ back, with no concern for your comfort or survival.
Jude Law plays Remy, a repo man, who after an accident finds himself with a new artificial heart, a heavy debt, and unable to work after he grows a conscience and finds that he cannot go on with his life killing other people.
When he can't make the payments, he finds himself on the run from the repo men, one of which happens to be its toughest enforcer, Remy's former partner Jake (Forest Whitaker) who has orders to track him down.
