Review of Repo Men (2010) by Mike K — 02 Mar 2011
Below average sci-fi romp that, like 'The Island' doesn't really know whether it's a serious, thought-provoking story or an action flick. Jude Law is fine, although the moral shift his character goes through is conducted pretty inexplicably, with insufficient depth, and so the character comes across as lacking in authenticity - you don't really care what happens to him.
The rest of the cast are also doing okay with what they're working with, but the plot needs something to rescue its already shaky credibility. A missed opportunity.
