This is really not as bad as people make out. Dark, funny and not too gory.
There is a reference to the Live Organ Transplant skit in Monty Pythons Meaning of Life, a skit I still can't watch. It's the spurting blood and Terry Gilliam's blood curdling screams that make me go green. In Repo Men most of the "Transplants" are with the subject unconscious and with oddly low blood pressure.
