It's corny, at times, but all of the tie ins to early 80s hardcore punk make it a very interesting film (from Otto singing "TV Party" to the Circle Jerks singing a lounge version of "When The Shit Hits The Fan").
It was also produced by former Monkee, Mike Nesmith.
