Clever and entertaining (if uneven) 80s LA punk coming-of-age tale complete with an awesome soundtrack, tight performances (Harry Dean Stanton as a world-weary mentor to the nihilistic "Otto/Auto" Emilio Estevez), ridiculous black-and-white generic foodstuffs, and a kick-ass 78 Chevy Malibu.
