Review of Repo Man (1984) by Adam D — 28 May 2009
The greatest punk movie ever, a coming of age story strangely more realistic than most coming of age stories, with the exception of aliens in the storyline. Emilio Estevez is Otto, a punk rock kid who loses his girlfriend, his nowhere job as a stock boy and his friends only to be reborn as a Repo Man, where he finds a new niche in life.
The movie is completely off the wall and chock full of memorable characters and memorable lines. Harry Dean Stanton and Sy Richardson are cool as hell and hilarious in it.
