Review of Repo Man (1984) by Adam K — 15 Jun 2012
Beyond its incredible soundtrack and witty storytelling, this film just screams "greatness!" Its a punk rock film for the working class. It takes the ideals of the LA punk and throws them into the world of the repossession agent.
Emilio Estevez and Harry Dean Stanton are memorable in their roles and the monologues about LA life, conspiracies and satires on cult-like lifestyles and just priceless. Part comedy, part sci-fi, part exploration of the American counter-culture, this classic from the mid 80s has a lot to offer its viewer.
