Alex Cox's famous science fiction cult film Repo Man is one of the best in it's class. As the title says, it's the story about a bunch of repossession agents, or simply called Repo Men in down town Los Angeles, we aspecially follows the young Punk, Otto (Emilio Estevez) who's new to this Repo Men world full of competition and crooks, like his mentor, Bud (Harry Dean Stanton). In this part of town, there's nothing such as a normal day, and it evens become more paranormal when one scientist is running away from the CIA for stealing a radioactive creature in a trunk of a 1964 Chevrolet Malibu. Which of course ends up in LA and becomes a target for every Repo Men.

Repo Man is the definition of a cult film, with a crazy plot, an unusual underground environment full of obsessed characters, like Harry Dean Stanton as the crazy middle aged veteran who's become crazily obsessed with this Chevrolet Malibu, no matter what, and it's so amusing to watch his craziness. I just love how the movie loosen itself up, leave it's hair out. And the long haired bum, Miller who talks about our excitants, which creates the perfect undertone. It's the perfect cult film. Thumbs up.
