I got the opportunity to preview this film, and all I can say is wow. I never had the chance to see the musical on stage, but I've had the soundtrack for years. It was phenomenal for those of us who can't necessarily pay $100 to see it in person to see it on film.
I believe the message of Rent is too people in my financial bracket, so I am so thankful for the film version. It brought tears to my eyes and everyone to their feet. This is a brilliant film, I highly encourage you to see it.
