Review of Renegade (2004) by Eric M — 13 Oct 2007
Slightly off point, but still enjoyable. The CGI and other fx really bring some of the "spiritual journey" parts of the film out in a way that I have never seen done before...very scary in some instances. This was also a very beautiful film, with some cuts to the likes of Leone. you can tell this film was influenced by his films. The downfall...is the sort of bad acting and slow moving story. It definitely could have been a lot shorter and a lot better in that sense.
Basically, it got a little too pretentious.
Good film, but could've been a lot better in the hands of another director.
