Review of Renegade (2004) by Carlo D — 10 Feb 2014
Some acting was actually quiet good, but I did never really got the hang of this movie. There was to much trying to visualize feelings and what some experience when some conspicuous drugs and liquids have been consumed, that t ruined the whole movie. They tried to tell a story, but got lost half way.
The best acting was Madsen, by far. The rest of the crew could just as well have come from any regular industry or warehouse, just the regular blunts trying to do some acting on their free time. For example, had this been the first ever movie I had seen with Eddie Izzard, I would have never ever seen any movie with him in the cast.
If it was because of a bad script, bad directing or just that all the actors got badly ht by the heat, I don't know. But there's much more to be had out of this caracter. The comics was really good, and I guess they should have tried to stick more coreclty to what was written and portrayed in those.
