Review of Rendition (2007) by Simone R — 22 Jan 2009
The topic of the film is actually quite important, but the way it is handled is a bit one-sided.
I actually found the performance from Jake Gyllenhaal fairly good, while Reese Witherspoon and Meryl Streep - who keeps one straight face from beginning to end - surely gave one of their weaker performances.
Overall, it's still a fairly good and thrilling movie to watch.
