Review of Rendition (2007) by Heather J — 30 Sep 2010
Another film that relates to post 9/11 and the world of terrorism. This story deals with a American citizen that is taken in on account of his Egyptian heritage and a possible connection to a recent explosion.
The story takes on other parts as well. You have the story of his American wife trying to find out what happen to her husband. You also get the political side and the story of a CIA agent who is torn from duty and watching someone get tortured for info.
Plus another story of a young Egyptian girl and boy that tie into the explosion. The story is well done and does flow well together. A great cast and well acted through out this film. Overall the film is not as exciting as say films such as "Traitor" or "The Kingdom".
But more along the lines such as "Lions for Lambs". Overall worth at least a one time watch if you like any of the above mention films.
