Review of Rendition (2007) by David H — 06 May 2012
It presents a suitably bleak and disturbing picture of the "War on Terror", with some ambiguous characters, bleak imagery, and fine performances from all concerned. However, it remains largely very safe: we already know torture is a bad thing and that that the ends do not always justify the means, resulting in a film which at the end of the day is surprisingly unaffecting, despite the odd harrowing moment.
