Review of Renaissance (2006) by Hugh J — 12 Aug 2008

I totally wanted to love this movie but it was just mediocre at best. The animation is friggin' gorgeous and the directing in regards to that was awesome. Unfortunately, the story didn't really draw me in and none of the characters really stood out.

Although, I did like Karas and Bislane, they just should've had more scenes together. The twist was decent enough and the action scenes were actually really good. I loved the car chase near the beginning but the ending felt kinda rushed.

All in all, it wasn't anything special but it is worth at least a viewing. This would make an awesome video game.
