Review of Renaissance (1967) by Kelly P — 12 Feb 2008

Interesting movie. the visuals are stunning if not a little distracting and hard to follow at times. the story line is okay but the its one of those movies that won't let you go. it reminds me very much of blade runner meets frank millers sin city (the visuals look like they were taken right out of that yellow bastard in terms of high contrast and use of shadow.).

The only thing I didn't like was the script. it seemed slow and clunky and if it hadn't been for the animation style I probly woudn't have bothered with the movie. eigther way. check it out.
