Review of Remember the Titans (2000) by Brian K — 12 Jul 2012
5/3/01 - Remember the Titans is based on the true story of a high school football team in VA formed by integrating a white and a black school. It was blatantly trying to pull viewers' emotional strings, but surpisingly, it worked pretty well.
It's tough not to root for the team to defy all the odds. The DVD is totally packed with extras. There's a couple of commentary tracks including one with the 2 real life coaches. I didn't have time to go through all the features, so I maybe adding this to my collection in the future.
